Cordelia and Meghan's 2025 circumnavigation of the USA

Cordelia cycled 11,600 miles and Meghan drove 18,500 miles over 223 days.

Cordelia used photography as her sole artistic outlet. The vast majority of the photos in our gallery are hers.

Meghan continued taking online classes for her Master’s program. She also visited museums and did a LOT of crafting. (Including making our sign!)

For most of the trip we followed the Adventure Cycling Association’s mapped routes.

As is tradition among cross-country cycle tourists, Cordelia dipped the rear tire of her bicycle in the Atlantic, then the front tire in the Pacific.

Cordelia and Meghan met in college in 2017, shortly after Cordelia completed a 4,500 mile bike ride on the ACA's TransAmerica Trail. A few months into their friendship, Cordelia shared that she was planning to cycle the perimeter of the country next time. Thinking she wasn't serious, Meghan agreed to go with her.
